Ter gelegenheid van hun 40-jarig jubileum en de bijbehorende 40 Licks verzamelaar tourden de Rolling Stones in 2002 en 2003 over met hun Licks Tour. De in totaal 117 shows van de tour vonden plaats in zowel stadions, arena's en clubs. Het optreden dat de band in januari 2003 in New York's Madison Square Garden gaf verschijnt nu als dubbel CD + BluRay. De setlijst bestaat uit de grootste hits van de eerste 40 jaar van de band, waaronder Start Me Up, Angie, Gimme Shelter, Brown Suger (met Sheryl C
row) en Midnight Rambler, maar ook deep cuts als When The Whip Comes Down en Thru And Thru. De BluRay bevat ook nog 3 bonus tracks, opgenomen in de Amsterdam Arena en 2 rehearsals, plus de Tip Of The Tongue documentaire.
