Wat is PETG K5-Diffuus? PETG K5-Diffuus is een gespecialiseerd filament gemaakt om licht te verspreiden. Zo blijkt dat de helderheid van het licht nog steeds in de afdruk kan doordringen, maar dat het licht zachter is. Het werkt dus heel goed voor objecten zoals lampenkappen of kunstwerken met LED-verlichting of projecten die verlichting nodig hebben. Wat is PETG? PETG (afkorting van Polethyleen Tereftalaat Glycol) is een gemengde polyesterkunststof die bekend staat om zijn taaiheid en weerbestendigheid. Ideaal dus voor buitentoepassingen, omdat hij goed overweg kan met extreme weersomstandigheden zonder van vorm of uiterlijk te veranderen. Het is een milieuvriendelijk printmateriaal, wordt beschouwd als voedselveilig en 100% BPA-vrij. Perfect dus als voerbakjes voor je harige vriendjes! De incompatibiliteit (niet-adhesie) tussen PETG en PLA maakt PETG een ideale optie als losstaand ondersteuningsmateriaal of ondersteuningsinterface bij het printen met PLA. Om verstrengeling van het filament te voorkomen, wordt aanbevolen om het uiteinde van het filament na gebruik in de spoelgaten te steken. PETG K5 van Kexcelled is een verbeterd PETG-materiaal.
