Het eerste kerstalbum van Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong! Met zes singles, ooit verschenen bij Decca in de jaren '50, duetten met Ella Fitzgerald en Velma Middleton, en natuurlijk Armstrongs grote hit What A Wonderful World. Maar het pareltje van dit album is toch wel het unieke en nooit eerder uitgebrachte kerstverhaal 'A Visit From St. Nicholas (The Night Before Christmas)'. Het is een van de laatste opnamen die Satchmo maakte: heel intiem, thuis, leest hij het beroemde gedicht van Samuel Clement M
